Students go to healthy food options-preview

Students at Michigan State University have their own idea of what foods that they should eat when they are looking to eat more nutritionally“If i’m trying to eat healthy I will always get a salad in the cafeteria,” said Amy Davis, a freshman at MSU. “I am especially happy if the salad is made up of spinach, cucumbers, cauliflower, and broccoli.” Like Davis, another MSU freshman, Isabel Pavone said that she eats chicken with salad when she is trying to eat healthy. Not only do students have specific foods they aim to eat, they also have off-campus restaurants they think are good to visit for a healthier meal. “Whenever I eat off-campus I go to Panera and get a healthy salad,” said Davis. “I would say my healthier restaurant option would be Sushi Ya or Tropical Smoothie,” said Grace Beck, an MSU sophomore. “Sushi Ya is good because because you can get very simple ingredients as in avocado and rice with seaweed wrap.”
